I read the Harry Potter series this week. After seeing Order of the Phoenix in the theater I decided it was time. Perhaps it is my desperation for adventure and the fantastic, but I found them to be utterly wonderful. I’m quite sure I cannot overstate my enjoyment. I had the wish, upon finishing the last book, that the series would not end. This wish was also present when I first read Lord of the Rings. To see the amazing in this world exceeds the amazing in the world of imagination, yet, the world of imagination is vastly wonderful and enthralling.
Also read the Little Prince. Perhaps my thoughts above are influenced by that likewise wonderful tale.
Philosophy and Film, specifically the crossover, has become a fascination. More likely than not it will become stronger with time and exposure.
