Dazed and Confused

The last two weeks have been a complete blur. When I haven’t been grinding through large quantities of reading for school I’ve been helping my sister and brother in-law (official as of yesterday) move or get ready to be married. It was such an honor to be the best man.

Times like these I tend to be reflective, but I haven’t had time to let things sink in yet. I walk by the empty room upstairs and it goes under my radar.

Week One in the Books, Midnight Oil Burning

The first week of the Fall semester has come and gone. The next few weeks are going to be incredibly busy. Bachelor party next weekend, wedding to follow a week later. I don’t think that it has really set in yet that my younger sister is getting married. How old am I anyways?

I spend every day with myself and change is gradual enough that over time it can be hard to perceive. My oldest half-sister is ten. What the hell was I doing ten years ago?
